Well here we are, as the weather heats up so does the schedule. We are approaching a very busy time of year for us. The garden is growing and already producing. The hay is ready for cutting. And the fields of God’s Harvest are ripening. What do you spend more time on, earthly things or Heavenly things? Invest your time wisely in things that will benefit the Kingdom Of God.
Time is short.
not backing down
We have seen our fair share of trials in this life. And they are usually timed right before God is about to so something mighty. I hadn’t heard much about David hogan lately. Most of us heard him back around “98 and ’99 when he preached that incredible series at Brownsville. Overnight he was the guy to hear. The testimonies alone of what God was doing through their ministry brought faith, amazing faith. But then as the body of Christ usually does they went onto something else. They believe in healing one week but not the next. All too often it is the same with salvation. Folks get saved one week but then forget all about it soon enough.
Jesus is not a one time event!
He is an everyday event if you want to stay alive.
So when I talked to someone who went to the Brownsville school who had never even heard of David Hogan I wasn’t too surprised. Yet I know that God knows his name and so does the kingdom of darkness. You know how I know? Because the minute we started preparing for these meetings all hell broke out against us. I did not mean that as a coarse word but literally. We have made great sacrifices for the kingdom of God and are currently making another one. Is that the time to back down? NO! That is the time to move forward with more power, more love and more determination. We warned folks around us to be prayed up, but some were too busy doing their own thing. That can not happen we must always be busy doing HIS things. So anyway, I say all that to encourage you to move forward, and when things get tough, move forward with MORE determination! There is no coasting in the Kingdom of God.
The Well welcomes David Hogan
Join us June 22 and 23 as we welcome David Hogan from Freedom Ministries in Mexico.
The service will begin at 7pm each evening, doors will be open at 5:30 seating is limited
Freedom Ministries was founded in 1981 by David Hogan. Starting off with nothing but a word from God and a vision of the area he began preaching from village to village. The work began in the state of Veracruz, Mexico. From this beginning until now there have been over six hundred churches pioneered and countless villages have been brought the Gospel. The mountainous region where many of the churches exist is a harsh area with few roads and many villages only recently having electric power.

The Well is located in downtown Mt Pleasant TN. Check the site for more details, or give us a call at 931-379-9244. If you are hungry for more of Jesus and within driving distance then this is the place to be! We meet Thursdays at 7 pm and Sundays at 3.
Behind bars
Summer holidays usually lead to lots of fun and foolishness. Robert Pruitt used to always ask us, “have you ever looked up the meaning of the word fun?” Well yes I have it comes from the word, “fool.” God’s word tells us it is the fool who says there is no God. and I can tell you that a fool acts like there is no God either and that often times lands him in the county jail. Which is exactly where he CAN find God! So please especially pray around the Holidays and when you see someone acting foolish. The county jail is an incredible fishing hole for fishers of men.
