Although I am not legalistic, I cannot understand how a genuine Christian can take sin so lightly. One of the things I appreciate about the Old Testament is that it reminds me again and again just HOW serious God is about sin. I praise Him that much more because of His undeserved grace! We have learned to live without heat,running water and such other amenities. We have taught our boys how to fish,hunt and gather. I have been learning how to preserve foods and make soap,candles,we even purchased books on surviving in extreme cold and medicine without doctors. Every time we pray the message is heavier on our hearts.We know something is coming just not what or when.In the meantime the enemy is running rampant against the children of God. This past month my husband and another brother were attacked and tortured by an outlaw biker group my husband had belonged to and left for Christ.They threatened to kill me and the boys.supposed to die tonight. The reason:we kept telling people we were christians and refuse to stop preaching to the outlaw biker communities. This is our calling, the job Christ has given to us.Our 12yr.old told one of them "I know I'm supposed to die tonight, its ok.I'm going to heaven". The Lord liberated us from our enemies like he liberated the Israelites from pharoah. We walked through the middle of 2 lines of men ready to shoot us and rode to safety hiding in the back of a pickup truck. Praise be His name.
