Behind bars

The Holiday season is really hard for guys in jail. It shouldn’t be any different but it is. Society puts such emphasis on this time of year that it leaves most inmates feeling really hopeless. There are lots of suicides and depression. They don’t need to be reminded that they can’t buy their children toys when in reality half of the time they have neglected their children’s necessities. What they need to be reminded of is that there is healing in repentance and their children need a father more than a tree and a  toy.

But alas, the same ole story.

Please pray that through all of the nonsense these men find Jesus in their loneliness.
